Once a lawyer in Brazil, Geison reinvented his life through coffee. His transformation began with a barista course that sparked a passion he couldn’t ignore. Since arriving in Dublin in 2018, he has journeyed through various cafés, persevered through COVID closures, even survived a cycling accident and coma. And yet, his love for the craft never wavered – instead, it deepened. Now, at Søren & Son, he champions quality control, ensuring that every cup lives up to an unwavering standard.

The milk was silky, folded seamlessly into the espresso, and the flavors spoke of care, precision, and the quiet pride of someone who knows his craft. It wasn’t just a coffee – it was a quiet reflection of what Søren & Son are trying to achieve: excellence, without pretension.
