This was a special episode! I really enjoyed meeting Kerri & Yvonne and hearing all about their Community Cafe.
Caring Coins is a super addition to the local community, and is built on a real passion for connecting to the community and being there for one another. It’s a great model for helping those in the community who need s little more support.
Kerrie and Yvonne have channelled their own experiences into a drive and an energy that is clearly evident in the way they speak during the interview, and how the cafe is affecting many others.

I really loved hearing about their novel approach of the beverage fitting the cup of choice. Importantly too, they encourage being present while in the cafe – inviting customers to share their tables, leave their mobiles off, and have a smile for everyone.
Caring Coins is a wonderful reminder of the power of community, and how by stepping forward and turning one’s own challenges into a driving force, you can make a difference.
